# Exit DEMO mode

Once you've finished setting up your store, the last step to start processing real payments is to activate your account.

To do this, go to the **Balance** tab in the side menu.

## Welcome promotion

Hurry currently offers a promotion for new users:

🎁 **Make your first top-up of 150 USD and get an extra 50 USD added to your balance as a gift.**

This promotional balance can be used to cover processing fees within the platform.

## Activate your account

Click **Activate my account** to exit DEMO mode.

Next, enter the amount of your first top-up.

The first top-up must always be **150 USD** to qualify for the welcome promotion.

## Select the payment method

Click **Credit card** to make the top-up.

The payment form opens, where you only need to enter your card details and complete the payment.

> **Important:** The card used for this top-up is stored securely and will be used for future balance top-ups and for the monthly subscription charge. If a charge ever fails, Hurry will ask you to update your card or enter a new one.

## You're live!

Once the payment is confirmed:

* Your account is no longer in DEMO mode.
* The balance appears in your account automatically.
* The welcome promotion is applied (if eligible).
* You can start processing real payments with Hurry.
